| Trail Quest in Romania! |
The trail quest event, EnduRomania, is now open to Mountainbikers: one week Mountainbiking on wonderful Trails in new landscapes, away from traffic. There are control points to visit in the most beautiful parts of the largely undiscovered region Region of the Banat in south-west Romania. This event is for groups and individuals and is supported by the EnduRoMania-Team, who run a parallel Enduro-event. |

| Radu Mititean visits BikeRomania | After
having participated in the ECF-( = European Cyclists Federation) Meeting and
Velo-Mondial 2000-Conference in Amsterdam, Radu Mititean of Club Napoca,
prime activist of Romanian Cycling Clubs, came to Bielefeld
and visited BikeRomania on June 23th and 24th. It was a very nice meeting,
filled with information and discussions about German-English-Romanian
cycling projects. |

friend
made detailed research upon availability of Romanian maps. His study with comments of the maps, what they show and where to get it can be downloaded here. Hints on literature of the Carpathian Mountains are added (German only). |

| NEW: Bike on coach index | Another BikeRomania-Hit: out Friend Anno Heimerzheim has put together a downloadable list of Coach operators, who regularly travel between Germany and Romania, and take bikes. Very useful, due to the problems of bike carriage on international trains. |

| BikeRomania for the Brits | Our friends Richard Smith and Aurel Dunaroaia are promoting Bike Romania at the Millenium Festival of Cycling, organsied by the Cyclists' Touring Club in York, England 23-25 June. Aurel is cycling from Romania with a group of 7, via the Eurovelo cycle route network.
